An introduction to one almost completed BOM Quilt.  The design first came to my mind about 4 years ago.  Wow! how come it took so long to get here?  Well I guess it's called "priorities"  Any way here we are, some years later :)

Having fun with it.  I expect this to be about a 7 month program, with lots of applique ( either needleturn or blanketstitch) and some nice simple piecing to enhance the applique.  It should turn out approximately 68" square.  My quilt, as you can see is done in Browns through Old Reds to Pinks, with a touch of  Vintage Blue.  My Friend Pam gave me that blue, & I have so enjoyed using it.  I think it is a pleasant surprise in what is essentially a """Red & Ivory"""" Quilt.

A sneak peak  

at a new little "hold-all" purse I am working on at present.  It's so useful it was no sooner finished & I put all of my applique tools "necessities" inside.  So looks like a second purse sample will be happening soon.

Must finish the needle book that goes with it first though,  (then I guess I'll use it too)  two extra samples to do!!

It's all good fun though, different colours for the next set.

This pattern will be available some time soon........

Annabelle

Annabelle  (small Quilt)  30" x 40"

This lovely little quilt is kind of special to me as the squares were a gift from the fabric designer.  It is made using a charm pack.  I added borders, some very simple applique & a ric-rac edge.  I made it a while ago, but finally have just included it in my pattern line.
I think it's really pretty.

This is my latest finished project.  It will
eventually be availble in pattern form.
But for now I am offering it as a class at
Candleberry Country, Yarragon.
